I hate (hate hate hate hate hate hate hate) Illustrator.
There's sand on my boots.
I figured i'd try to trace the drawings in illustrator instead of photoshop, so that i could use filled shapes or paint pucket without actually ruining the entire picture. That didn't work, so i just did it the old way. Then i figured i'd import the panels into illustrator so i could do the text bubbles. Apparently 750 pixels in illustrator is equal to about 1600 pixels in photoshop, because when i imported the image, it took up 1/4 of the workspace. Also, after i added the text, i tried to send the image and text back into photoshop, but apparently there's a tax or something, so it came back at about 85 of the size i started with (keep in mind i dragged the image both times). So i had to drag the text bubbles in one at a time, which is why they no longer line up correctly.
It's also very hot in my house (which makes me more irritable and frustrated right now), so i think i'm going to shoot myself in the head and quit making comics.
death by comics (when you work so fucking insanely hard on 1 little teeny tiny thing that really doesnt even make a difference to anyone else and ur head just blows the fuck up) = the death of a true hard ass.
this comics pretty funny dude. keep crankin them out...i wanna see where this goes
heres something to think about tho...if you use the pencil tool in ps instead of the brush tool you should be able to use the bucket and the gradient to fill in shapes without getting that annoying little fucking white line. however, you will need to do this in a very high rez and shink it down later, cuz the pencil tool makes mad pixelly lookin lines.
ugh...that sounds like way more work then you need to do man...
heres another thing i just thought of...make a pencil later to drop ur paint bucket into...THEN if you dont want to work with a high rez image, and the lines are too pixelly then just use a "blur filter" on it. i recommend a subtle amount of "gausation blur" ...OR you could just drag the "blur tool" over the lines.

inking the comics twice sounds like over kill.
